A free, noncommercial tool
Clearpath to Debtfree is a personal project, unaffiliated with any business or employer. We do not charge to use the tool, run advertising, sell personal information, or monetize data collection. Cloudflare analytics and technical processing are described below.
Calculator inputs
The calculator code processes loan amounts, interest rates, dates, and payment choices in your browser. It does not send those entries to an application server or require you to create a calculator account.
Browser session storage
When you follow the credit-card comparison link, the app stores your loan scenario in your browser’s session storage under the key clearpath-loan. This lets the two calculator pages use the same loan details. It is not a cookie or a server-side account record.
Session storage is scoped to the website and browser tab. It normally ends when the tab is closed, although browser session-restore features can restore it. You can also clear the website’s stored data through your browser settings. Anyone using your open browser tab may be able to see the figures you entered.
Downloads
CSV exports and Print / Save PDF are generated from the results in your browser. You decide where to save them and whether to share them. Saved files may remain on your device after the browser tab is closed.
Email inquiries
If you email us, your email address and the contents of your message are sent through email services so that we can receive and respond to the inquiry. Please avoid sending sensitive account information. Contact us if you have a question about a message you previously sent or would like it deleted, subject to any applicable retention obligations.
Hosting and technical information
The site is delivered through hosting and network services. Those services may process technical information such as IP addresses, request times, browser information, and pages requested to deliver and protect the site. This is separate from calculator entries. Provider logging and retention are governed by their service settings and policies.
Analytics, cookies, and advertising
We use Cloudflare analytics to understand website traffic and usage. Cloudflare may process technical request and usage information through its analytics, hosting, and security services, according to the services enabled and their settings. Learn more in Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy.
We do not run advertising or collect contact details through forms on this website. If you choose to email us, we receive the information you include, as described above. The calculator uses browser session storage rather than cookies to carry your scenario between pages; hosting and security services may use their own technical storage or logs.
